Tinamba Hotel

Can’t comment on accommodation but stopped at the Hotel for lunch today with the family. Menu recently changed apparently and is different to what you can see online Char-grilled Calamari entree & new mains included Kangaroo loin and also venison with blueberry. We had to try all the above as well as sides of chips and roasted beetroot Great service and the food was exceptionally good. Would highly recommend making the stop to visit Would definitely go back again for sure

I need to preface this by saying i do love my food to witch my 130kg farme can attest. Unfortunately the scotch fillet was so blue it was almost unable to be cut, this despite my request being for i cooked medium I am loath to send food back yet i allowed the poor embarrassed waitress to return it to the cheff. Upon it's return it tasted of nothing but burnt flesh and salt due to the chefs desperate attempt to cook it quickly. The hand cut chips smelledof soil due to being cooked with the skin on and not washed properly and my mothers chips were full of black spots that hadn't been cut out of the potatoes. Incredibly disappointing as the food under the previous owners was a delite. As i paid my bill i was asked how the food was and i replied honestly and suggested the chef may find work at MacDonalds. I was given a discount on my meal and handed a bill for 82 dollars, i would hate to think how much it would have been if it were edible.
